Pre-Season Schedule 2017/18 – including Fisher v Millwall at St Paul’s!

Fisher FC are delighted to confirm our pre-season friendlies as Dean Harrison’s side prepare for life in the SCEFL First Division. A testing set of fixtures show the ambitions that Deano has, pushing the team against three sides higher than the Fish in the Non-League Pyramid – alongside an all important visit from League One Playoff Winners Millwall.

Preparations for the new campaign kick off on Saturday 8 July with that home fixture against a Millwall XI which will be a fantastic day for everyone who loves football in SE16 as The Fish and the Lions face off for the first time in years.

The following weekend sees the oldest football club in London visit St Paul’s as we welcome Ryman South side Cray Wanderers on Saturday 15 July, followed by another home game on Tuesday 18 July as Walton Casuals, also from the Ryman South, heading to Rotherhithe.

On Saturday 22 July it’s a short trip to The Menace Arena as we travel to Peckham Town, fresh off a great season in the Andreas Carter Joma Kent County League Premier Division.

We’re back at St Paul’s on Saturday 29 July to welcome West Didsbury and Chorlton FC, who finished 6th in the North West Counties Football League (Step 5) alongside a run the semi finals of the Manchester Premier Cup where they were knocked out by FC United of Manchester.

To round out the preparations Dean takes the Fish to Farnborough OBG FC on Tuesday 1 August, a welcome return fixture between the two clubs after they visited us for the test fixture at St Paul’s least season.
