PLAYER NEWS

It has been a busy couple of weeks with player comings and goings from St Paul’s.

Following on from several players moving to Basildon United with former manager Ajay Ashanike, Tyron Mbuenimo has also this week registered with the Isthmian League side, making his debut for them last night. As with the other players moving with Ajay, it will be on dual registration basis, so we may not have seen the last of any of them in a Fisher shirt.

During the week prior to Christmas, midfielder Manny Shoderu was approached by VCD Athletic and following talks accepted their offer to transfer. Manny has scored 16 goals in his 68 games over two spells with Fisher.

After a club record 148 games Luke Thomas has also made a decision to depart Fisher. Luke has struggled with injury this year and we wish him all the best with his, as yet unknown plans, once he is fully recovered and back on the pitch. Likewise, Pat Hoy has announced he is going to look for a new club in search of a regular place in a starting line-up. Pat has made 45 appearances for Fisher over the last three seasons. We wish Pat well.

We welcome through the in-door, central midfielder Ben Sangare, whom we have signed after his release from League One side Port Vale’s Under 18 squad. Ben made his debut against Stansfeld last week. Also making a debut in that game was fellow midfielder Hikram Olaiya, who had been with us during pre season after leaving Hayes and Yeading.

Over the Christmas period we also signed Ibrahim Kamara, a young winger and full back, who played on loan for Great Wakering Rovers last season, whilst a scholar at Southend United.
Finally we thank Lewisham Borough for their cooperation in allowing us to sign Sineen Sineen on Bxoing Day. The young attacking midfielder was also with us during the pre season, playing in the opening friendly against Redhill.
