Croydon 0 - 2 Fisher
Monday 21 September 2015 - 19:45

Fisher made it 3 wins from three against Croydon FC on Monday with a 2-0 victory at Arena.
The Fish looked dangerous on the break all night and with Dave Waters and Gassimu Jalloh forming a near unbreakable pair in the heart of defence, a solid display against a Trams side full of confidence ensured a well deserved three points and a third clean sheet of the season for goalkeeper Denzil Kobia.
It was Croydon who struck the first shot, although the ambitious effort sailed high and wide of the target. Fisher responded with a series of dangerous attacks, which forced a number of good saves from Francis Ameyaw.
The first goal of the evening came deep in to stoppage time when Travis Gregory fired home after a well worked corner.
In the second half, there was pressure from the hosts, and at times the Fish midfield seemed to disappear as Croydon tried to play a more direct style. Three substitutions in as many minutes rectified the problems in midfield and reignited the spark that had got the Fish in front. Shelton Gooden replaced Frazer Bent while Max Rothwell and Taylor Thomas (who had a good game on the right wing) were replaced by Alex James and Alfie Roche respectively.
Fisher sealed the points after Shelton Gooden was introduced in place of Frazer Bent. with seven minutes left to play Gooden broke through the Trams back line and fired home to open his account.
With the vocal travelling fans in high spirits Gooden could have added a third in the dying minutes but saw his shoot saved by Ameyaw (who picked up an injury making the save).
Referee Daniel Proctor brought the game to a close after three added minutes, ensuring three valuable points the Fish.
