Fisher 3 - 3 Sevenoaks Town
Saturday 6 December 2014 - 15:00

Fisher ended their run of five straight defeats with a 3-3 draw against Sevenoaks Town at Champion Hill on Saturday, as Dean Harrison made his debut in the dugout.
The Fish got off to a shaky start and quickly faced a spell of pressure. The pace of Richmond Kissi and the physical presence of Andy Constable caused problems for the home side early on when the Oaks won a series of corners. As the Fish struggled to clear the danger from the fourth corner, Andy Constable fired home the opening goal with nine minutes on the clock.
While Sevenoaks continued to threaten going forward, as the Fish started to settle down Junior James began to cause chaos down the left wing as the experienced Oaks back line began to struggle with Fisher’s pace.
Debutants Darren Wise (right back), Dwayne Agyemang, Calvin Ekpiteta, and Ali Musa (midfield) each enjoyed good debut performances with Wise and Ekpiteta linking up well down the right hand side.
It was in the early stages of the second half that Fisher looked most threatening, and it was Ekpiteta who kicked things off in style, firing the leveller past Oaks debutant Adam Highsted (who joined from the Fish) after dancing past two rather weak challenges eight minutes after the break.
Fish took a deserved lead five minutes later when Junior James calmly the ball slotted past Highsted to round off a fluent move.
Fisher looked to have the game and the points wrapped up 17 minutes from time when a fast break released Junior James who broke free of the Oaks backline and chipped the ball over Highsted to make it 3-1 to the Fish.
With the home supporters in high spirits, both sides made changes, the most notable was double goal scorer James being replaced by former Oak Jay Garrick for the Fish and Danny Hockton replacing Andy Constable for the visitors.
Within minutes of the changes, the Oaks pulled one back through Hockton, who then went on to level the scores four minutes from time.
A couple of robust challenges, including a high boot on Fisher keeper Justin Lee, earned Hockton and Ashley Baverstock yellow cards in the latter stages as the game ended on a tetchy note. Hockton in particular might have seen red on another day as while he played the ball, Lee was caught on the thigh, but the Oaks substitute found referee Mr Amir in forgiving mood.
A promising start for Harrison as Fisher manager, as the Fish appeared to make good progress towards a return to form.
