Fisher continued their winning ways in leafy Sussex on Saturday, with another comfortable pre-season victory.
Two second-half goals from Steve O’Donnell sealed the win in what was a well-contested game against a side who play at the same level as Fisher in the Sussex League.
A Fisher favourite of recent seasons featured for East Grinstead in the shape of Cedric Abraham, who lined up in midfield. Despite Steve Firkins making nine changes from the side that comprehensively beat Tonbridge Angels on Wednesday night, Fisher again dominated large sections of the game with the smooth passing that is starting to become a feature of the new look Fisher. Lively performances from Jamie Turner and Ellis Wilson-Joseph were complemented by the hard-working Chris Hubbard in the wide left position.
Steve O’Donnell wrapped up the win with two goals in 7 minutes, the first a cheeky back heel, and it was reward for Fisher’s dominance of the game. A number of new faces featured and all played their part in a very impressive and deserved win which was enjoyed by both the management team and the travelling Fisher faithful.
