Two goals in the last fourteen minutes consigned Fisher to their second defeat of the season in an uninspiring contest at Erith Stadium.
With Bryan Glover suspended, Mark Lewis was given the holding midfielder birth whilst Raphael Akala was pushed out to the wing with Dexter Babalola leading the line for the away side. New signings Danny Dean and Anthony Glover were both given a place on the bench.
With the game looking to fizzle out into a goalless draw, Martin Chirimuuta rose highest from a corner to power home from close range. Chris walker wrapped things up late on slipping the ball passed Adam Lisney when played clean through on goal.
Both sides began slugishly in a drab first half, the Fish were content to knock the ball about their five man midfield without ever really threatening Tim Roberts in the Town goal. Erith grew into the game as the half wore on and carved out two good opportunites as the half time tea was brewing. Lisney was called into action saving with his feet when Leroy Huggins saw a clear sight of goal, the forward also tested from 12 yards which the Fish stopper was equal to after an excellent Erith training ground move.
Things looked to improve marginally for Fisher in the second half. A Fish breakaway saw Akala go on an impressive 70 yard mazy run that resulted in a fierce Babalola shot which Roberts palmed away. George Savage also stung Roberts with a powerful drive as Fish smelled the possibility of a smash and grab but Erith dug in and ensured the spoils went to the home side.
