Kent Football League

Norton Sports 2 - 2 Fisher
Saturday 9 April 2011 - 15:00

Debutant Al-Asmpan scored a late equaliser to salvage a vital point for ten-men Fisher against fellow Kent League strugglers Norton Sports.
Asmpan levelled with just seconds left to play after an inch-perfect cross from the right flank was met with a neat finish rom 6 yards.
The Fish took the lead early on, a long ball from keeper Dan Teeley caused confusion in the Norton defence and Norton player-manager Ben Taylor looped a header over his own keeper to gift Fisher a dream start.
On the half hour Fisher were reduced to 10 men after a Simon St-Aimee tackle was deemed a straight red card following angry remonstrations with the referee from the Norton players.
Fisher battled well to stay in the lead with a player down but Lewis Taylor’s fierce long-range free-kick beat Teeley and drew Norton level just before half-time.
Lewis Revitt then headed Norton in front with 10 minutes remaining to seemingly give Norton the three points before debutant Asmpan gave Fisher a share of the spoils in injury time.
The point lifts Fisher off the bottom of the table and a win on Saturday at Lordswood could see Fisher leapfrog Holmesdale in 14th.

Fisher: Teeley, Bianchi, Lewis, St Aimie, Sinnott, Simon, Savage (Al-Asmpan 84), Babalola, Cowan (Sherman 45), Abraham, Ramirez. Unused Subs: Lisney, Beauchamp, Hollidge
