What better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than watching the Fish in Rotherhithe.
There were plenty of trialists on display for both teams and Greenhouse Sports changed their entire squad, including kit, at half-time from a Sevenoaks-esque all purple to all navy with yellow trim.
After a slow start Fisher pressed forward with some excellent passing in the central third and some great use of the two wingers. Dangerous balls were played into the box throughout but the strikers found themselves crowded out by some top class defending and couldn’t turn the chances into goals.
Greenhouse Sports scored early in the first half but Fisher held them off until the half-time whistle.

After refreshments Fisher created more opportunities but it was Greenhouse who took their chances and two goals in quick succession put the game out of reach. Fisher had a cast iron claim for a handball in the penalty area midway through the second half but the referee waved play-on. A second penalty shout went our way but the spot-kick was saved.
In the dying moments Greenhouse made it four.
The final score was deceptive. Fisher should take heart and will take the development areas onto the training field as they prepare for the coming season. Good luck to Greenhouse for 2015/16.
