Fisher’s pre-season ramped up a gear on Monday night, as an extremely competitive fixture against Kent Invicta League outfit Bridon Ropes ended with a narrow Fisher win.
The Fish triumphed 2-1 courtesy of two first half goals from David Milton, the first a dipping twenty-yard strike and the second from the penalty spot. Bridon pulled a goal back before the break, and as both teams made extensive changes the visitors had the better of the second half. Fisher’s defence held firm, though it took a penalty save from Billy Hensman to ensure that Fisher picked up their first win of pre-season.
