Corinthian 2 - 0 Fisher
Saturday 13 December 2014 - 15:00

Fisher slipped to defeat on Saturday when they visited Longfield to take on Corinthian.
The Fish lacked bite and experience in midfield with a number of players missing through suspensions and Corinthian dominated the centre of the park throughout the match.
Corinthian took the lead after just six minutes when Luke Tanner got on the end of a well-placed cross and blasted the ball past Justin Lee. Corinthian could have extended their lead but a combination of stout defending from Billy Walton and Aaron Seales kept the Corries at bay, and Justin Lee pulled off a great flying save from a dangerous close range free kick to keep the scores at 1-0.
Fisher only really started to settle in to the match in the latter stages of the first half, as a lack of height up front seemed to limit opportunities to get forward.
In the second period, Fisher looked more dangerous as Alfie Roche came to life up front and began to create chances, although the Fish were unable to really test the Corinthian goalkeeper.
As the game went on and conditions became more difficult as the pitch started to deteriorate, both sides introduced fresh legs to try to keep the game flowing. With time running out, Corinthian’s free flowing passing game, similar to the Fisher style, continued to caused problems for the visitors back line and the Corries sealed the points four minutes from time when Marcus Evans headed home as Fisher struggled to deal with a corner.
The 2-0 defeat sees the Fish stay in 17th place as bottom side Deal Town lost 7-0 against Greenwich Borough and Lingfield vs Erith Town (placed 18th and 19th respectively) was called off.
