A solid performance against a hard working Camberley Town saw Fisher win through to the next round of the FA Cup and with it, a journey to meet Jersey Bulls in a fortnights time. Fisher made just one change from the side that won the opening league game last week, with Michael Sarpong coming in for Charles Yiadom Konadu.
It was Camberley who made the livelier start and quickly got the games first shot away with a powerful long range effort from thirty yards drilled just over the bar watched closely by a well-placed Sam Amedu. However the energy of Tom Jones and ball winning prowess of Flavio Jumo, quickly had Fisher in the game and having forced a corner from a good overlap by captain Jack Gibbons, A short routine allowed Tom Jones to send in deep cross that the keeper struggled to gather under pressure from Chibueze Echem and one of his own defenders with the ball spilling back towards the goal where Echem was quickest to react to force it over the line.
Both sides used the excellent playing surface well, getting the ball out their wingers, with the Camberley winger causing Fisher some issues with his pace and in return the powerful running of Jacob Katonia gave Fisher opportunities down the left but neither wide man could find a final product after good runs.   Amedu had to be at is best to tip over a rising shot after a well worked move from the visitors and another shot from outside the box juts past wide of the post. However, as the half went on fisher started to gain control with Tom Jone forcing  a series of corners from the left and after some good footwork to make space Katonia saw a chipped effort saved. Fisher’s best work now came down the right with Jack Gibbons overlapping and often picked out by superb long range passes from Don Macaulay. On the half hour mark a neat Fisher move saw Katonia upended three yards outside the box and Michael Sarpong stepped up to majestically sweep the ball into the far corner to double the lead.
Shortly before the break Fisher almost added a third when Kesna Clarke flashed a header across the goal after rising to meet Jack Gibbon fine cross.
The second spell saw Camberley push Fisher hard, but some resolute defending repelled their early pressure and it was Fisher who looked more likely to find the net with Clarke and Echem both having low shots saved. However, in keeping out the Camberley forwards, Sam Amedu aggravated a thigh injury and was replaced by Tommy Taylor, his third spell with the club.
The introduction of debutant Rafael Garcia paid off instantly as a powerful run from the former Everton youngster saw him brought down and despite him wanting to take the kick himself, Clarke took control of proceedings and confidently dispatched the spot kick to the keepers right. With the game seemingly in the bag, Fisher were rampant and for the next ten minutes peppered the Camberley goal in search of fourth, with substitutes, Charles Yiadom-Konadu, Lorenzo Duncan, Kelvin Bakare and Garcia all providing some sublime skills and entertainment. However with twelve minutes left a quick break down the left saw a low cross smashed home by Shane Qoloni.
Both sides continued to push for further goals, but an entertaining tie came to a close with no further goals, despite a number of chances at either end with Clarke denied on several occasions as Yaidom-Konadu provided a creative master class with his box of tricks and quick footwork.
A crowd of 264 met the final whistle with rapturous applause as Fisher got their cup campaign off to a winning start and now head to the Channel Islands in a fortnight for the Preliminary Round tie.
