Fish off to solid start in Pre-Season

A surprisingly familiar Fisher side got pre-season underway on Saturday and enjoyed a rather comfortable 3-1 win against Crockenhill.

Spirits were high both on and off the pitch throughout the afternoon, and it was the highly rated Luke Haidarovic who was first to find the back off the net, with a well struck close range effort after just four minutes.

The Fish continued to look threatening on the break and did well to nullify Crockenhill’s target men, with the hosts managing just one note-worthy effort in the first half which sailed over the bar.

In the 30th minute Luke Haidarovic tucked away his second goal of the game to make the scores 2-0, which is how things stayed until late on when a Fisher trialist made it 3-0, before Crockenhill finally managed to beat returning goalkeeper Billy Hensman with an well struck penalty a minute before full time.

The Fish continue Pre-Season preparations with a trip to Sparrows Den in West Wickham on Saturday to take on SCEFL Division 1 side Orpington.
