Match preview: Fisher v Sutton Athletic

Start of December and as the decorations go up, the temperature drops and the shops fill with all sorts of festive christmas cheer, Fisher are fuelled by a well earned confidence that pushing us nearer the top of the league – nothing is stopping us securing that promotion place to the Premiership.

According to SCEFL: “Top of the current form table having lost just 1 and won 5 of their last 6 games 4th placed Fisher are raring to go at home to Sutton Athletic who are in 16th place. In the reverse fixture the Fish netted a 3-1 win”.

Can’t say fairer than that. [Read the match report of the previous meeting here: http://www.fisherfc.org/fixture_and_result/sutton-athletic-v-fisher/]

If you’re one of Fisher faithful you know the game against Sutton is going to be a joy, any lapsed or new fans – this is the time to get down to St Paul’s and witness South London’s finest playing something of the classiest football in the southern counties league.
