Fisher players held a minute’s silence along with Lordswood before the game on saturday in memory of one of the club’s best loved kitmen John Byfield who passed away recently. A local south London boy whose first love was Millwall, John lived and breathed football and was an integral part of the Fisher family for many years. It was a fitting tribute to a great man. He will be sorely missed, a true gentleman of the rarest kind.

Rest in peace John.
