Stansfeld v Fisher – Saturday 29 August will be open to fans

We’ve had confirmation from Stansfeld that this saturday’s game at the Metrogas stadium SE9 – our final pre-season friendly, will be open to fans, including travelling Fisher supporters.

It’s a perfect opportunity for all those who have missed their fill of Fisher action to see how the new season’s squad is shaping up ready for the start of the season.

Directions.

From M25
Leave M25 at Junction 3, taking the A20 towards London. Stay on dual carriageway for approx. 8 miles, known as the Sidcup By-Pass. Pass Flamingo Park and World of Golf on your left hand side and get into outside lane. At first set of traffic lights (Five Ways), turn hard right into Southwood Road. At next traffic lights, go straight over into Avery Hill Road. Go over two mini roundabouts. The ‘Footway’ is on the left hand side opposite Sidewood Road. Turn into the Footway from Avery Hill Road and immediately go through a raised barrier, there are speed humps to go over and you take the first turning on the right, which is one of the parking areas.

From London
Take A2 from Central London to New Cross, then the A20 to Lewisham. Continued to follow the A20 signs out of Lewisham towards Lee. Follow the A20 signs, the road now becomes a dual carriageway. At first roundabout, go straight over. At first set of traffic lights, go straight on. At next set of traffic lights (Five Ways), take second left into Southwood Road. At traffic lights, go straight over into Avery Hill Road. Go over two mini roundabouts. The ‘Footway’ is on the left hand side opposite Sidewood Road. Turn into the ‘Footway’ from Avery Hill Road and immediately go through a raised barrier, there are speed humps to go over and you take the first turning on the right, which is one of the parking areas.

From New Eltham Station
Come out of the station and proceed into Avery Hill Road. Go over two mini roundabouts. The ‘Footway’ is on the left hand side opposite Sidewood Road. Turn into the ‘Footway’ from Avery Hill Road and immediately go through a raised barrier, there are speed humps to go over and you take the first turning on the right, which is one of the parking areas. To get to the clubhouse you go through the chain link double gate and follow the path to the entrance.
