December Fixtures

We’ve only got 3 League games this December, and only one at home, so it’s going be a quiet Christmas at St Paul’s this year. Thankfully our home game is on the traditional boxing day fixture (although it’s been moved to the 27th this year because Boxing Day falls on a Sunday) where the players will be wearing our away kit in support of the housing charity Shelter’s campaign to raise awareness of people who don’t have a safe place to call home.

It’s a small gesture from us but homelessness is still a massive problem in this country and one that many people are increasingly faced with – especially during the time of the pandemic and especially during winter.

As Shelter say: “We want as many teams, players and fans as possible to join our #NoHomeKit campaign and work with us to help people dealing with homelessness and unsafe housing this winter. By joining the campaign you’ll be helping raise awareness of the housing emergency and raising vital funds to help us fight it”.

We have Kennington away this saturday and we are taking fans to Deal Town with us on the 18th on the team coach. So anybody who wants to travel to that game (for just £15 – cheaper than the train!) email: programmes.fisherfc@yahoo.com to book your seat.

We also have a mid-week Cup game where we go to Stansfeld for the 2nd Round of the SCEFL Challenge Cup
