With the season coming to an end and player registrations expiring at the end of May, last season’s top scorer and Player’s Player of the Year, Isaac Thompson will be leaving Fisher and joining an Isthmian League side next season.
Isaac scored fourteen goals in thirty one appearances for the Fish, after joining from Spartan League side Holmer Green in the autumn, including a stunning finish with what was his last kick as a Fisher player to round off a hat trick in the last game of the season against K Sports.
Speaking on Twitter, Isaac said, “My time at Fisher has come to an end, thank you to the fans who came to support every week. Big thanks Ajay for giving me a stage every week! Not to forget about the coaches, Michael, John and Luke who taught me important things towards my game.”
Many of last season’s squad have verbally committed to again registering for Fisher next season though one or two upwards moves are still in the pipeline for the young squad, with a couple of new additions likely to join once pre season is underway.
