MATCH REPORT: Farnborough Old Boys U15s 2-5 Fisher U15s

Farnborough Old Boys U15s 2-5 Fisher U15s
Sunday 23 October 2022
Kent Youth League U15’s Central

So Sunday 23rd October, the boys travelled to Farnborough looking to get back to back wins following our win at Dartford last week.

Your boys didn’t disappoint, coming away with a very well deserved 5-2 win. On a day of crazy weather with thunderstorms an rain before kick off before sun breaking through for kick off.

The fisher boys started very bright an straight on the front foot. After going a goal ahead we slipped an gave a soft equaliser away. But this fisher team is made of strong stuff an week by week we are getting back to our normal selfs, the belief is back the work rate is back the attitude is correct. We stormed to a 4-1 half time lead.

What was important was not to drop of the tempo an that’s easier said then done it’s human nature to believe the game was done, after a pen save from our keeper woke us up we went up the other end an made it 5-1 ….. hat trick for woodsy and two classy goals for Freddie Farrell an selbs was enough. I could again write a piece about every player as they all played their parts.

Excellent away day win, two wins in a row away in the Kent league is a strong statement. Next step is to address our home form an get that 3rd win in row at home to Sevenoaks on Sunday. Thank you to all the parents that came to support. Big shout to our mini bus driver Sarah too.

We go again….. fish fish fish
