Fisher FC Society Limited is constituted as a Community Benefit Society, owned by its members who each hold one ordinary share in the club (taken as the first £1 of each year’s membership fee). A Society Board is elected from amongst the membership and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club.

Board Members and Society Officers

Fisher FC Society Limited is governed according to its Rules. The Fisher FC Rules outline the Club’s objects, which describe how it will work for the benefit of the communities that it serves, in addition to rules related to membership, Board membership, Board consitution, society finances and other operational and governance matters. The Rules are adopted by members of the Club at a general meeting – the latest version of the rules was adopted in July 2025.

The Rules are supported by a number of additional policies that govern how elections are conducted, set out expectation the conduct of members and Board Members and outline the disciplinary process in the case of a breach of any of the other policies.

Fisher FC Society Limited is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Accounts are returned to the FCA on an annual basis.
