We’re Recruiting – Commercial Manager vacancy

Fisher Football Club are looking for a Commercial Manager to play a central role in building local relationships with a view to managing the Club’s sponsorship at all levels. The Commercial Manager will focus on generating revenue streams for the club, including negotiating sponsorship agreements, selling ground advertising opportunities, programme advertisements and match sponsorships. The successful applicant will also boost income through active account management of partners and advertisers.

Following our return to SE16 last season, the Club is now focused on deepening our relationships with the local community and local businesses, with this appointment at the heart of our ambitions. Fisher are committed to developing as a Supporter Owned Community Club, thus meaning that commercial income from sponsorship and other means is vital in supporting not only the development of Dean Harrison’s First Team as they seek promotion from the Southern Counties East Football League First Division, but also the broader club as we expand our Youth Football and Academy teams for the 2017/18 Season.

We are looking for someone who has a real passion for football, alongside an innate understanding of South London – particularly Rotherhithe and Bermondsey. As the face and voice of Fisher in the local area, you will be driven and self-motivated to be the ‘boots on the ground’ to ensure that Fisher FC means something to local businesses, and be able to build those key relationship. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales, marketing or commercial roles.
