First silverware of the season after Fisher u7s impressive tournament win

Fisher under 7s played their first pre-season tournament on Saturday 2 September at Abbey Wood. They played 6 group games altogether – winning 1 drawing 3 and losing 2.

This meant the boys qualified for a shield semi-final against Kent Football and won the game 2-0 with an AJ and a Pavey penalty goal getting us through to the final against Orpington Rovers.

A tight final was edged by the Fish with an AJ winner, the boys worked their socks off and from the 8 games they managed 5 clean sheets, a great display from the boys.

The junior teams are an important and integral part of the Fisher family and we committed to building a positive footballing environment in the area and developing a greater connection with the local community.
