Match preview: Fisher v Lydd Town

A home return after another impressive away win against Thamesmead last saturday. [Read the full match report here: http://www.fisherfc.org/fixture_and_result/sc-thamesmead-v-fisher/.] And The Fish are looking to build on the last two victories with another win against Lydd.

There is a renewed sense of purpose in the way the team are playing at the moment, which is not only reflected in the results but the all-out attacking football which has been a pleasure to watch as the team have grown into a formidable force edging closer to promotion.

A point separates Fisher and Lydd in the table which could suggest a close fought game. The real difference is Lydd have played and lost three more games than Fisher plus the fact we beat them away convincingly back in September [Read the full match report here: http://www.fisherfc.org/fixture_and_result/lydd-town-v-fisher-fc/].

All the signs are looking good for another brilliant Fisher performance, so get down to St Paul’s early, enjoy some pre-match refreshments in the clubhouse and get behind the team.
