Today, 30th July 2020, marks our 4th birthday back at St Paul’s Stadium on Salter Road. Fisher returned to its home in Rotherhithe after an absense away where we shared the Champion Hill ground with Dulwich Hamlet since our reformation in 2009.
It was a massive effort and a lot of hard work by the Fisher footballing community, not least by ex-chairman Ben Westmancott, to get Fisher our own ground and back where we belong in SE16.
It was an emotional day on our return to Salter Road area, we played a pre-season friendly with Farnborough OBG on Saturday 30 July 2016 and won with an impressive 4-0 scoreline. Goal scorers included: Troy Abbey, Alfie Roche, Rob Curtis and Harry Budgen.
To mark the day we have been posting up images of the ground on our twitter feed and Instagram accounts, which can be viewed here:
The team for the day was:
Fisher: Ricky Wadman, Akeem Hanson (Veejay Miller 46), Harry Bugden, Jamie Taylor, Lindsey Prescott-Kerr, Dwayne Agyemang (Daniel Fleming 46), Alfie Roche, Hassan Oshilaja, Troy Abbey (Joe Roche 62), Ellis Wilson (Rob Curtis 46), John Ufuah (Tyrell McLeod-Bentley 46).
